Book Recommendations
It has been a while since we ahve shared any book recommendations, so I thought I would bring the topic back up again. I also happened to just finish a very unique book, which I think that Jen in particular would enjoy. My book recommendation is Ella Minnow Pea by Mark Dunn. It is a self-professed "progressively lipogrammatic epistolary fable" and it is rather interesting to read. The novel is set on the Island where the "creator" of the pengram " The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog" lived. Things happen to a monument to the author and the sentence and life changes irrevocable. It's a quick read, and lots of fun. Let me know if you get the chance to read it and what you think!

I have had that one on my shelf of "to read" books for a long time, but I haven't gotten around to it yet. So I'm glad it's good. Maybe when I am done with my reading for summer school, I'll pick that one up. Though I also have some fun travel books I want to read.
Sascha, if you're in the mood for a lighthearted romance (and I 'm directing this at you since I think you and I are the only ones on this blog who read that genre) try Susan Elizabeth Phillips "Ain't She Sweet". I read that for my romance week of summer school, and it was a lot of fun, and a very fast read.
I'd love to hear what everyone else recommends/is reading.
I just read Kite Runner and really enjoyed the book, even though I had to work hard to get through the first part.
I've started reading Dreams of My Father by Barak Obama and am enjoying the first chapter. I'll let you guys know how it is.
You gotta let us know how the GRE goes, Ayelet!
I want to give my impression on Ayelet's new place since I helped her move in to it and she's currently occupied by said GRE that indeed needs to be smacked in the guts.
The house is pretty, and big. Big living room, a totally separate dining room, a kitchen that can fit 10 people (!!!) (though we haven't tried), and 3 cute bedrooms. It really feels roomy, and I think Ayelet might be wanting to get a sock-skating event going on at some point...
