Amazing Race 9
So, TAR starts up again on Tuesday and I want to get everyone's preseason picks for who you WANT to win and who you THINK will win. Go here : http://www.cbs.com/primetime/amazing_race9/ and read the bios to make your deicsion. Will it be one of the 3 "dating" couples ( note: no dating on/off this time) or perhaps the token Old Couple? Who will be more obnoxious- the female duos or the male pairs? Why do those categories leave us with only one other pair- the token married couple with kids? Man, I didn't realize how formulaic TAR was..... Anyway, post your picks and get in on the action early this time!
ETA: How come we never see brother/sister pairs in the regular TAR? I want to see one!

I too, think I like BJ & Tyler best, just judging from the bios. (I'm not in the mood to watch the pre-show interview yet). They seem well traveled, and like Ayelet pointed out, maybe this means they won't be ugly americans. Then again, they do seem a bit crazy, and could possibly get on my nerves.
I know it's wrong on most levels, and very judgemental of me, but I just can never find myself rooting for the people outfitted in Victoria's Secret wear. Come on, people, PINK was done two seasons ago. Then again, Danielle and Dani are college grads, and so maybe I am being too harsh.
The old couple this time seem pretty nice. I hope that they actually are.
I don't know who I would choose as the winners -- I guess I'll just wait and see. Maybe Joseph and Monica, the pretty-boys Eric and Jeremy or Ray and Yolanda.
I hope the season premiere is good tonight!
So I cheated. I still haven't visited the website and I waited until watching the premiere to formulate any opinions. That said, I think you girls have been watching too many seasons of this show because you all seem so spot on with your character analyses!
Anyway, count me in for BJ/Tyler as well...I like them, hippie-labeled or not. But I think my favorites so far are Wanda and Desiree. I like Ray and Yolanda too, and kudos for the non-MoJo couple as well (Lake and Michelle? I just checked), since they were able to put together that motorcycle so quickly. I didn't like the old couple so much, probably because of that all-too-obvious homage to Meredith and Gretchen "oh no"ing their way back and forth past the cluebox. And the lady that peed her pants and still jumped for joy (and Jesus)...no comment.
Crap, now I'm hooked again. I blame it on the company I keep ;-).
