So, after reading Kristi's newest blog, I was intrigued and amused by her answers to the questions of the day. I thought that maybe we could do something like that here, since that one time we did that blog post of facts about ourselves was fun and interesting.

I'll pick our first question, since it was my (lame?/cool? remains to be seen...) idea.

Aloha, I'm back

Hello all! I'm back from my trip home to California and to Kauai. I've started uploading pictures and I thought you might like to see some. This is Kendra and I at a Luau on Kauai. A working man

Look at this transformation, an avid hiker in the high sierras in Yosemite one week, to the dressed up professional off to his first day at work. Last week I started a new job at Sacramento State. Working in the Office of Community Collaboration, I help link faculty and students with non profits and schools in Sacramento to provide service learning, civic engagement and community service programs that tie in classroom theory with real world experience. Pretty much a perfect match for me at this stage of my career. I'll let you know how everything pans out.
