Weekend Trips
Where are there cool places within a 2 hour drive from where you live? One of the coolest places that fits that description for me is Pt. Reyes, a national park where I have spent 5 months living/working/exploring.
Here is a photo of my roommate and me on the beach after a 3 mile hike a few weeks ago. We went with friends and had a beautiful fun day out on a hike.

Jack,
I went out for drinks with some friends of mine from high school a couple weeks ago. We were siting in an outside patio at a bar when the waitress came up. She was a friend I met last year and I gave her a hug when she came to the table. Sitting down she looked at me, asked how I was doing and said, "Wow Brendan you are tan!" My friend Joel from high school was nice enough to point out that this is probably the first time anyone had ever atributed that trait to me.
